Capabilities - CCTV, Surveillance and Access Control
CCTV and IP Video Surveillance.
As an accredited Samsung partner we design, install and commission complete surveillance solutions for inside building and external building and campus requirements. We follow a rigid and formalised process for building fit-for-purpose surveillance solutions based on customer need, the physical environment, risk and impact assessments (which assesses the likelihood of a security breach versus the impact of such a breach) and the quality of image needed to capture such events (for example to be admissible in a court of law). We deliver our solutions through acceptance criteria that is built through a combination of customer need and system performance measurements.
Building and Perimeter Access Control.
To complement our video surveillance solutions we also design, install, integrate and commission access control systems, also using technology from Samsung. Our solutions cover a building’s internal environment of corridors, receptions and communal rooms as well as the external environment of the building perimeter and campus access, using swipe cards, biometric or key-pad entry systems. Our cabling and electrical infrastructure services allow us to design, install and commission a fully integrated and working solution ready for operation in the real world.
Building Communications. Audio Visual and Broadcast Distribution.
We install, terminate and test co-axial cable in broadcast environments covering both fixed routes between patch panels and ‘flying’ outlets from patch panels to mobile broadcast equipment. At the other end of the scale, but no less important, we also cable and commission television distribution networks in multi-dwelling units, corporate establishments (Sky News) and hotels (for guest services).
In the corporate and retail markets we install central server platforms for audio video distribution across a campus, a retail outlet or centre, or in public thoroughfares. We design the distribution network and the communications media using one of or a combination of copper (audio), co-axial (audio visual), fibre (audio visual) and copper structured cabling (for transport, not for data) systems. We partner with specialist equipment manufacturers to split, amplify and aggregate communications channels, as well as installing the end visual display screens (plasma) and complete the commissioning from server to each presentation point (such as television or video-only display screens).
Electrical Installations.
Our engineers are 17th Edition certified for electrical installation and testing work. We combine our electrical services with our cabling and equipment installation services to deliver our customers a complete implementation package for a building, a site or a switching centre.
